Lady is a differrent playstyle than the other characters, she's more about juggling than hack n slashing, sure if you're into swordplay, you'll definitely prefer Vergil but Lady is still a lot of fun, just in a differrent way. You don't really get that same satisfaction as you do pulling off a dance macabre/drive combo with guard flying and all that but you do get the satisfaction of blowing up enemies from all angles, juggling them and taking them out in more creative way. Put simply, if Michael Bay developed DMC4, Lady would be the main character.
Plus allow me to add that Lady is so powerful that she makes some of the games harder bosses look like a complete joke. The first Agnus barrier for example, that was piss easy as hysteric destroys all those annoying flying swords.
Also remember that when playing as Lady, the B button is your primary attack move for the most part instead of Y, don't just stick to using Y all the time, it's handy when combined with a ground zero and in other close ranged encounters but you shouldn't stay in close range for long, most of Lady's close ranged attacks are designed to push enemies away or pull herself away from enemies to keep her distance. That being said though, her close ranged attacks can still be very handy, particlarly her sweeping attack.
Her lvl 3 charged shots do insane amounts of damage and stuns Bosses almost instantly.
Her "Lockon"-Move (RB+Foreward+B (xbox360 Pad) ) does also massive amounts of damage.
And that Grabble-Hook is by far the most effective tool against Knights and Mephistos.
Her other Weapons are great too, but the Kalina Ann is just OP as ♥♥♥♥
Also her grappling hook when the enemy is in the air, slams the enemy down and deals decent damage. takes out the phantom type enemy cloak easily.
she really requires you to use charging and melee at the same time so rebinding keys is recommended on controller.
I kinda yelled a bit :D
Still going to keep at her though, since her gameplay is a fourth of the reason why I bought DMC4SE.
-Berial is still a really painful fight as her though... just like Blitz are a real pain as Trish.
She doesn't do crazy fast combos or anything, but she has good AoE and knockdown potential.
Fast combos are somewhat possible for her but those take alot of skill, but most of the time, they will end with a big slower finish from a charge shot or something XD even when doing that on the side of jump cancel bayonet slashes.
