Play as Dante throughout the whole game?

Is there a way to do this, either through vanilla or a mod? Dante's just so much cooler than Nero. Also, does Virgil also have the ability to switch styles? Thank you!

Just play Dante's missions in reverse lol

Seriously, though, you would get stuck at every part that requires the DB. You'd never make it past mission 2. And Virgil can't change styles, only Dante can.

You can play full game with Nero, Vergil and Lady/Mary only. Trish and Dante don't have the ability to grab onto the flying blue orb thingy

Well you can only play through the full game with Virgil. Nero and Lady are physically able to, but the game doesn't let you. I'm not sure if there are any mods that allow it.
