I know this, but my preference is Playstation prompt style, and it's surprising to me that since this game is atleast semi-moddable there's no PS prompt mod.
lmfao to this day I'm still OCD about PS prompts on older games. A lot of games nowadays have dualsense and DS4 prompts so that's nice, sad to see there still isn't one for this game. Capcom has never been good at this since DMC 5 doesn't have PS prompts, but thankfully there's a mod for it.
The main issue is that native DualShock 4/DualSense support is not enough--you also need an option to manually change the controller prompts for all controllers. This is for players who use Steam Input or third-party controllers or both (I use both). It also helps for people using their DualShock 4's wirelessly, even if they don't use Steam Input configuration features. Essentially, it's a universal solution to all prompt issues.

♥♥♥♥ man good looks, took 5 years but getting there LOL
It took 5 years, and it's here. Thank you my dudes for this!
Crazy that those games don't come with it. DMC 5 thankfully had a PS prompts mod soon after release. Capcom has been getting slightly better with this, RE4R comes with dualsense prompts but doesn't include adaptive triggers support and the other dualsense jazz which is really really sad.
Regardless, thank you to the modders, people reigniting the interest and thank you for posting it despite it being an old post!
