120 FPS CAP FIX?
does anyone know how to remove fps cap? i got a 165 hz monitor and wanted to see if it could reach that

i tried already bro it didnt work. only worked for cutscenes but gameplay was still locked at 120 fps so i put a post up cause i was like fck it no other option worked

Anything significantly above 120fps would not be very good because the game's physics is directly tied to framerate with significant consequences.

There's no real difference between 120 and 120+ herz. Unless you have OCD and you NEED the framerate to be as high as your monitor's refresh rate. Or maybe you have inhuman eyes that can catch that extra smoothness.

Not really, I used to play fine over 200 fps on my 240Hz monitor, and it was easier to do Perfect JCE 9 out of 10 times. Now, with lower fps I literally can see frames being skipped due to fast animation with lower fps. It messes with my timing and judgement.

For those saying the physics break above 120fps, go run through the benchmark. Gameplay is completely normal at 1000+ FPS, aside from the animation of some flags in the first segment.

but i read about many issues with new high PC's

still no fix for this? I've never seen cutscenes run at higher FPS that the actual native gameplay
Stuck at 120fps in 2025. Oh well... :steamsad:
