A little app I made for DMC4 Special Edition.
To be honest I should've made it long ago... Well better late than never, right?

VOID FX:

Press CTRL+F1 to enable or disable the effects.
It changes the way effects are rendered, so it will change player, enemy and environment effects. It also works with all effect mods and swaps.

MOUSE SUPPORT:

Ever wanted to play DMC4 with a mouse instead of just the keyboard? Well now you can!
Press CTRL+F2 to enable the script. Then in the game use the "Windows" key to hide the cursor and lock it onto the game. That also enables the camera movement and key binds.

Controls:
WinKey - Show/Hide Cursor
LMB - Keyboard "J"
RMB - Keyboard "L"
Numpad 1 - Camera 1
Numpad 2 - Camera 2
Numpad 3 - Camera 3

Showing or hiding the cursor changes the mouse behavior. Showing it makes it work as usual, so you can interact with menus, minimize and work on your desktop, etc. Hiding it locks it onto the game, controls the in-game camera and binds the Left Mouse Button (LMB) and Right Mouse Button (RMB) to the keyboard keys "J" and "L". You need to manually bind "J" and "L" to the moves you want in the game settings.

STATIC CAMERA:

Makes the camera static so you can take cool screenshots or just look from different angles. It works similar to the one featured in my Camera Hack for vanilla DMC4.
Press CTRL+F3 to enable or disable it.

Camera Controls:
Numpad 4 - Left (X)
Numpad 6 - Right (X)
Numpad 8 - Up (Y)
Numpad 2 - Down (Y)
Numpad + - Forward (Z)
Numpad - - Backward (Z)

Camera Aim:
Left Arrow - Left (X)
Right Arrow - Right (X)
Up Arrow - Up (Y)
Down Arrow - Down (Y)
Page Up - Forward (Z)
Page Down - Backward (Z)

These controls and directions are relative to the map's coordinates, so they might be different for different rooms/levels.

Do NOT use "Mouse Support" and "Static Camera" together, because one will override the other. It also might glitch and crash your game.

Most of the detections say it's a "HackTool/CheatEngine", which is understandable, considering it's made with Cheat Engine's tools. Any program that injects directly into another process will be detected as a "Hack Tool". Yet actually decent antivirus software won't detect it (like Kaspersky, Avast, Malwarebytes, etc) at least according to VirusTotal.

I want to point out that I have no benefit of infecting a tool that roughly 5 people in the world are using. I'm just sharing my work. Whether you want to use it or not is your call.

I haven't changed anything about my profile. It might've been a bug or a Steam server issue.

If I wanted to hide my profile, I would have. I also wouldn't reply to you and make my profile visible after. Enough trolling or whatever it is that you're trying to do.

Man if you doubt him and don't want to use the mod just don't do it. No need to creep on his profile.

Also who doesn't know a "virus" and an inject type mod work the same way anymore? They both hijack the program. What they do after hijacking is the difference between a virus and a mod.

For the average ppl like us, we have little to no way to know what comes after the hijack before actually running it. But if the Archangel guy wants to do malicious stuff he wouldn't target a 5yo game from a niche franchise.

Dude if you see a blank profile, either it's set to private or your steam display is temporarily malfunctioning. 10 years on Steam and you didn't bother to reset the page to see the matter through. If you did you would see that the account is lvl 52 and likely not a throwaway one to spread "virus".

Also you don't even know an inject type mod would trigger Antivirus flag, I'm sorry but everything will look sus to you. You don't know a damn thing ab modding period.

Don't go around stating "It's a virus" like that is factually true. You know how hard it is to make a mod like that? You just make yourself look rude and tells everyone you're not knowledgeable.

I thought I did refresh and I even clicked the profile to make sure. I didn't see any other profiles do that.

Hi, used your program and it worked marvelously. I'd like to ask if you have plans for adding mouse buttons such as side buttons or the middle scroll button for the B command?

This is actually an old project from late 2017 (my original post on Steam is from 2018, before it got bumped last week). I don't plan on working on it further at this point. However, I encourage Capcom to reuse their code from DMC 5 and release it as a free DLC for DMC 4 SE. It should work better anyway, though I'm not sure if they'd do that.

I updated the link in the original post. Scrolling through the past replies here kind of made me not want to, to be honest. Feel free to upload the file to VirusTotal. Hopefully it still works. If the game had even the tiniest update since I released this, it won't work anymore.
