Can't change style as Dante.

Anyone knows how to change style as Dante using a gamepad? The arrows on the gamepad doesn't change his style as they're supposed to.

Well your meant to used the D-pad. if that doesn't work go to the options and try changing the controls. If that still doesn't work it sounds like a problem with your controller what kind are you using?

I tried to change the controls but the arrows dont seem to work at all (only to move the char when i turn off the analog button). I use a cheap one Trust gtx24.

Well I'm no expert I'm really just spit balling here, but you could try using Steam's Big Picture mode to Re-map your controls so your D-pad works as if it was numbers 1,2,3. and 4 on the keyboard which are what changes your style when playing on keyboard.

try x360ce emulator for your gamepad. It should fix the problem

go to C:\Users\*user*\AppData\Local\CAPCOM\DEVILMAYCRY4SPECIALEDITION
open the config.ini
change to this:

LEFT=POV
RIGHT=POV
UP=POV
DOWN=POV

save
now try

Make sure that the analog mode on your gamepad is enabled if it has one. This is easy to overlook.
