PC version vs console
I don't own a PC that's very good but I am going to in a few months.

I'd like to get this game on a steam sale..but is it really better than say the console versions? On xbox one right now I can get the deluxe edition for $18.

Do you think I should get that or just wait til I get a PC and buy this? Is the PC version truly superior?

If this was the orginal Version of DMC4 that would be the case but Special Edition is going to be the same on both Console and PC, only you can mod the game on PC.

If you talking about the Demon hunter bundle your probaly not going to want to get that. everything except the Lady and Trish costumes can be unlocked through just playing the game.
Buying the Super mode is dumb because that it is meant to be your reward for beating the game on Dante must die the hardest difficulty. having it from the start will just make the game less rewarding.

Definitely grab it on PC, purely for the use of Super Trainer alone.

I'll put it to you this way. In the vanilla game, Dante (the best playable character in the whole series) CAN NOT fight Credo (the best boss in the whole series) at his best. At all. The ONLY way to do that is through Super Trainer.

But Dante can fight Credo
Level 80 in Bloody Palace is the Credo fight no mater what Chracter you pick.
Sanctus is the only boss that Dante Can't fight.

That being said it is far better to skip to Credo instead of needing getting to level 80 everytime.

Yes but, Credo at level 80 also isn't him fighting at Dante Must Die, I believe.

And, yeh. Fighting to level 80 every time you want to fight him simply isn't viable.

Super Trainer is an external program for the game. Think of it as kind of a command console for the game. Let's you do WAY more than the base game will do.

what ^ said

It allows you to do all sorts of things.
Skip to any floor in bloody palace.
Give enemies unlimited health so you can pracitce combos.
Change enemy spawns: example Spawning bosses instead of regular enemies.
Play custom Diffculties like Gods must die.

PC version, because there are many mods to try out, there are trainers, and you can also disable forced motion blur.

Buy an Xbox controller and get it on PC. Better graphics, better performance, mods, etc.

I'd suggest a PS3/4 controller myself actually. The D-Pad makes for style switching much cleaner.
