Baby Deer follow you to death
Alright, so I've been playing this for a few hours and I have a large complaint... When you find a female and you get a baby, it FOLLOWS you. This is a problem because if the baby deer dies, you don't get an extra life-- your bonus life died.

Needless to say, it makes 'saving' pointless if your save-file will follow you and die before you do. They probably shouldn't follow you.

I think the players should have the option to make the baby follow you or stay in one place.

What would be the point of letting a baby follow you? It can't attack yet, and I don't believe you can level it up until you die and take control of it. Even so, it's not the brightest thing in the forest... It'd be safer if it stayed with the mother-deer.

I would agree with this I've lost one to many baby deer but then again. I guess that gives you a reason to have many many baby deer. I guess that could be an option for an 'easy' setting to the game.

I have more of an issue with the recrutable bucks getting stuck in their path finding. I'd love to see your 'helpers' have better pathfinding. it's pretty sad when they get stuck behind a very simple bush or one jump high ledge.

thanks for the feedback - we did improve this quite a bit in the latest version but maybe we'll make them stay closer to mama or stop before fires or big ledges.

The point would be not spawning ages and ages behind.

The doe become irrelevant once you've collected a few skulls and skills. I rarely needed them to finish the game. In the beginning they are useful to give you checkpoints. It might be worth balancing the skulls in the later game.
