W00t! So it is permadeath if you have no babies!
It seems to me that you need to keep procreating each time you take over a new fawn. It's kind of cool in a way. To me it's a rogue-lite type game. Yes there is perma-death, but if you keep procreating, you can keep living through your offspring!
I am not sure what to suggest at this point. I need to keep playing a bit. Maybe some quests or something to keep it interesting... Some underground caves to explore might be cool???
Were you full grown? I know you need to be full grown to procreate. I have not played enough to see if you can procreate twice. I thought I did, but I can't remember for sure... I get this game mixed up with Tokyo Jungle! lol :-)
Was there another stag nearby? Sometimes if thers a stag nearby, it indicates that the doe is taken.
