Has anyone tried modding this game recently. I am able to open the OMF editer fine but when I drag the modded file into the OMF window no change takes affect.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

My understanding is that if you are using up to date versions of Windows 10 or Windows 11 then the OMF editor no longer works - but behaves as you are experiencing. The only workaround I'm currently aware of is to run the OMF Editor in an older version of Windows, e.g. Windows 98. On a modern system you could try using a virtual machine or an emulator like 86box to install Windows 98 on.
