Ninja blade is pretty bad. A boring classic 360 action gaming trying to be ninja gaiden but with no impact, feeling nor the essence of what it's trying to be. Razor's edge can be criticised as it is, but it's still a decent game.
Ninja Blade while bad was nowhere NEAR as bad as either of them
Not comparable
Cool but we’re talking about Razor’s edge which still is a fun game, not vanilla 3. Now Ninja Blade is not a good game at all, unless you truly enjoy boring QTE I guess
Ehh. Considering RE is designed solely around abusing steel on bone, and playing super aggressive screws you because the cpu always has damage advantage over you if you and he get hit at the same time.. I very much disagee.
1 is the best overall game imo, 2 has the most fluid visceral combat. 3 is just... 3 😄
It exists
I beat 3 on ultimate ninja without abusing steel on bone but it was one long rage induced session from the absurdity of bs involved with damage priority nonsense and ended up feeling like luck 90% of the time.
Ill never do that again heh.
But even the worst ninja gaiden game is better than the vast majority of other stuff out there. Theyre all a lot of fun. Except 3 on UN, it feels like bs regardless
Sidenote: Impressive feat beating 3 with SoB abuse, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. That is something i personally wouldnt subject myself to. Maybe 20 years ago but today? Nah. So you sir, have my respect.
And also, we dont talk about yaiba tho it dont count 🤫
1.No underwater swimming
2.Better camera and you have a manual lock on system
3.Bow is more fun to use.(in 1 it is very clunky to use the first person aiming in helicopter bossfight battle)
Having unlimited amount of bows is also better than having a limited number.
4.I like the story more in NG3. NG1 and 2's stories feel worse.(That whole Murai plot twist made no sense. NG 1's story also never explains who that woman was that got killed even though she is probably an important person for Ryu.)
5.You have checkpoint before bossfight battles. In 1 you don't have any and if you die you have to restart from a save station. That adds annoyance to that game in a bad way.(Especially one of the final bossfight that forces you to climb the stairs every time before facing the boss.)
6.secondary playable characters are better fleshed out in 3RE compared to 1 and 2 because you can upgrade them and you can play the whole game as them.(Even though they still feel inferior to Ryu due to having only 1 weapon)
7.Having no healing items is better imo because that forces you to actually learn how to play the game instead of skipping the fights.
I also loved using steel on bone move.
Edit: also it was cool seeing Hayabusa village without it burning down.
