Apparently the latest patch that came out yesterday was supposed to fix some Nvidia DLSS and Intel XeSS-related issues in the Microsoft Store version or something like that... Guess that would mean for the Gamepass version? IDK cuz I don't use Gamepass and just own the Steam version lol.
It may be a long shot, but here's a youtube video I found that *may* be helpful, although this video came out days before the recent patch so if you weren't having these issues prior then you might just have to wait until the next major patch gets rolled out in a few weeks from now which will hopefully address this issue that was likely somehow caused from the current patch release.

For the record and if it's of anyone's curiosity, I'm running the game on an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X CPU with a Radeon RX 7800 XT GPU (16 GB installed RAM at 3.80 GHz) and have had absolutely zero crashes occur before and after the recent patch came out with over 20 hours of play time on Steam.
Hope this information can at least help someone somehow, and sorry in advance if it doesn't.
What I did was get DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and completely wiped my nVidia drivers in Safe Mode. Then, downloaded the latest drivers as of today (1/30/2025) and everything is working just fine.
I think my drivers for my nVidia card got corrupted somehow. I would suggest uninstalling the drivers via DDU, then download and install the newest drivers.
DDU also works for AMD GPUs, but I'm not sure if people having this issue are only on nVIdia.
it works for me
Thank you, friend! This fixed it first try for me, whereas updating drivers didn't.(I didn't try the full DDU uninstall)
This really should be stated as an official fix, but unfortunately, I bet a bunch of people just won't play until another patch is released...
