One can only hope.
This will never be fixed. It's how the game is designed completely around its framepacing.
The original was hard locked to 60fps, and they sacrificed everything to make sure that lock never ever dipped because of this.
lol, this sacrifice was largely no vsync, but OG 2 on 360 DEFINITELY does not keep 60 throughout the game, and the screen tearing got wild, though not as bad as Bayonetta PS3 port, lol. I don't think even Sigma 2 on PS3 pulled it off, but I may be wrong on Sigma 2.
- Fixed an issue where the options for DLSS and XeSS would not appear when selecting super resolution type on the Microsoft Store version of the game.
- Fixed an issue that in rare cases made it impossible to progress after defeating certain bosses.
But they did announce another patch coming mid-February with balance changes and "additional features." We'll see what that means.
Maybe Team Ninja can add more original features? I think they could add something like Test of Valor if they rework it.
