Xbox Game Pass vs Steam - Which version is better?
I am playing on xbox game pass and the game looks awful. Most of the textures are blurry and it only uses the high res textures when really up close. There is also a bunch of ghosting when you are moving around. Feels like I need glasses in order to play this game with the amount of weird blur.

Yeah it’s pretty bad on Gamepass. No option for DLSS and FSR is a blurry, artifact ridden mess. Was better on series X than PC gamepass. I love the Ninja Gaiden games so much that I just ended up buying it on Steam and it was a huge difference. It’s like playing a work in lrigress and then getting a finished product imo.

Is Steam version run better too? I'm playing on Game Pass rn and the fps were abysmal.

Yes. Be sure to turn framegen off though… and override scaling options in properties on the game’s executable to fix input lag.

There is definitely an issue with this game on PC Game Pass. A friend of mine has almost the same setup as me with a GTX-1660 card. Different CPU (Ryzen 5 3600X vs my Ryzen 5 3600). He has it on Steam and he definitely has a lot more options to upscaling incliding Xess. Also, when compiling shaders, he usually has 11K shaders to compile. For me, PC Game Pass has been around 6K. This might explain a lot as to why the game looks like a blurry mess on the PC Game Pass. Something is wrong with it there.
