85 GB?
I'm happy to support Team Ninja and get a chance to play NG2 on PC since I didn't have a 360. However, 85 GB install size requirement is crazy considering the original game fit on a single disc on 7th gen console.

The textures for character models are highly detailed, probably why it's so heavy. Way more details and higher graphics fidelity than the original game.
Normally I wouldnt excuse this, but its def not like COD where its 200gb for no reason, all textures are upscaled to 4k in this and the polygon count has increased immensely.

They're really not that detailed.
This is Nioh 2 tier levels of detail. I don't mind it because it's a fast paced action game but higher res textures here don't really move the needle in overall game quality and the dang storage! 85GB WTFFF

wow, you clearly have zero knowledge on this, please dont spread lies.

Ninja Gaiden 2 Black has no groundbreaking textures, cutscenes sound effects, weather effects, reflections, shadow, water effects etc to require 85GB.

Sigma 2 launched on pc a couple years ago at 4.2GB thats 20 times that file size which is significant, plus they cut some content too, on top of that this game performs like ass regardless of resolution or hardware.

Arkham Knight and Days Gone are visually and technically much more sophisticated while performing significantly better then a game that relies on cutting mechanic which is absolutely fine, but the file size is a redflag for refusing to optimize and the performance too.

I though my prayers were answered honestly, but this release was a huge scam.

Guess you play on a toaster, the textures looks fine for me. I posted more than 200 screenshots and I can guarantee you that the game looks amazing in certain areas.

Ah yeah this guy again. You keep telling everyone who has bad frames he plays on a toaster? Yeah right lil buddy. Even the best GPU's have issues with this engine but keep on coping. You probably think 60 fps is good in 2025.

It should be 35-40 gb with this graphics, no?

I played the game from start to finish with maximum settings, custom .ini for even better graphics, played at 2k with DLAA and I was always above 100fps the entire time with a 4070super and 7800X3D. Far from the best possible hardware but still had good performances on this game. Keep lying I guess, the game runs fine, not the best optimization but far from being the worse.

You said it yourself in another thread, you play on a trash 2060 and you play on the botched gamepass version, no wonder the game will not run well LMFAO:

Not interested in playing another UE5 slopfest. This game should be running at 120FPS or more at 1440p or higher on 2060's as far as I'm concerned. The visuals don't justify anything less.

I am on a 2060 and it runs like garbage. I capped my FPS @60 because i dont get more than 70-90 frames anyway. And in fight they usually drop to 40 even on lowest settings.

The Global Illumination is borked imo. As soon as you go from low to standard it cuts the framerate in half.

With everything other than GI on high (RT off), at 1440p with balanced DLSS I'm averaging around 80fps, so locking to 60 is fine. This is on a RTX 2070, i7-8700, 32GB RAM @ 2666mhz:

Yeah, uncompressed or poorly compressed textures and audio will do that.
