Can someone confirm if they removed most of the outfits/costumes?

I was looking at https://teamninja-studio.com/ng2black/us/comparison/ , it looks like they removed 50% of the outfits and costumes for all the characters, and more for Rachel, so I'm guessing they had to censor the costumes? I'm guessing Rachels Fiend Costume is not in the game. Can someone confirm?

Most of the costumes are missing yes. Whether you call that censorship or just TN not including something (like they removed Ninja Races etc.) is up to your interpretation.

Would think they'd add them as DLC similar to what other remakes do. Modern Tecmo in general make some odd design ideas.

They didn't remove anything because they didn't remake the original NG2, it's a remake of Sigma 2 that didn't have most of them to begin with.

Correct, they are using Sigma 2's entire code base, and TRYING to be like the original NG2 by adding back the gore. That's it. That's the only singular way they've achieved "being like the original".

All the costumes from Sigma 2 Plus for the vita didnt make it in, if your wondering why half the outfits are missing. Master Collection uses that port, and it has more content overall compared to the remake we got of base Sigma 2 for the PS3

They're the PS3 versions graphically, with the extras from the Vita.

No it's not. At least from what I've played through so far. Just straight up Sigma 2.

Yes sir. Bunch of outfits, Ninja Races, and a Turbo you can fiddle with.

But yeah you nailed it, ps3 graphics with vita content. They might have downgraded some stuff somewhere, but the passion for Sigma 2 is lacking compared to the OG 360 version, so documentation on that sorta thing is sparse.

If they have the purple / blue colored version of that costume in the game, without alteration, I will be very impressed.

I won't get too excited and I need to see it to believe it, but maybe there's some hope going forward with Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja. They will earn my full price sale if that costume is in and un-edited.

I'd so love to see this studio back to what it once was. I'd still like to see them grow a pair and stop region locking DoAX games on Steam, and go all out with a new DoA, but baby steps, I guess.

Like the Game Over screen. It's just awful. Should be on continue from last check point from default, but you're forced to press a direction to show the cursor in the first place. But even worse, if you press 'up' to select the top choice, it will appear on the bottom. You instead have to press 'down' and it will appear on the topmost choice. Makes no f***ing sense and it's worse than it was in every other version of this game.
