This vs Ninja Gaiden (2004)
The old xbox game is one of my favorites of all time - am I going to enjoy this one as much?

It's more like NG1 than the NG2 purest would like. So if you enjoyed NG1, you'll probably enjoy this too.

I actually never completed this game because I didn’t like how over the top and large some of the enemies were compared to 1, which I literally beat everything in and loved that game. This game felt cheap in spots where as in 1 it was hard but once you came up with a strategy for an encounter you could get through it. I’m excited to go back into it though and see if I enjoy it now, since every action game now a days is some sort of souls rip off, which aside from wukong I’m extremely sick of.

I am enjoying it, but not quite as much. Enemy counts resemble Sigma 2 more than OG2. Also the new blood effects are honestly not as good as blood in OG2.

Well tbh, i enjoy it but this game has tons of issues. Input lag, bad performance especially on game pass, DLSS / FSR / FG not working properly, bunch of stuttering while playing etc. Ah and keep in mind, you need a powerful GPU because UE5 runs like crap on most systems.

If you got the money and you wanna support the devs, then sure. Imma buy it aswell at the end of next month but for now imma gonna be playing on game pass.

Gameplay wise its probably the best in the series. It makes NG1 look like ancient. Especially the enemy types are so much better.

I disagree. I think Ninja Gaiden Black is actually an overall better game, though I still like this, and the OG2.
