Whether it was censorship or it was overlooked, there is a clear difference.

In the current gaming climate, anything that has a whiff of "woke" things will be ostracized by a very vocal sizable portion of the gaming audience.

This was a stealth release of sorts so not many have caught on yet, but soon enough there will be a backlash filling these forums imo.

Was it "woke" imo? Probably not but activists are masquerading as developers often these days tweaking things here and there, not everything is obvious as concord or veilguard, the main developers may not even noticed theirselves.

In every case the main developers are under a publisher, who owns the rights, and therefore they must play the game however the consultation firms tell them.

Again, this is about company image, and with vocal silencers of dissent ranting endlessly about how pixels are real life, you will get nowhere outside of, just refusing to buy censored content, simple.

Unfortunately no, tags can be removed or added by steam mods, devs, and publishers. Any tag they don't want on their store page gets removed. The DRM and this software requires a 3rd party launcher warnings on the page already exist CENSORED should also be added to this warning list. An the warning list itself should be easier to notice like the reviews.

I can't imagine anyone other than a hormonal teen or a deranged fan going this far in depth to claim censorship.

People really don't know what censorship means anymore, especially gamers. The fact that OG is still available means nothing has been censored. Art styles evolve through the decades, polygon counts increase, artists can do more with technology to better create things to their vision now more than ever. I really don't think they were measuring 3D booby sizes to be pixel perfect to the original, nor were they considering how camel toe is a design staple of a character.
