How is this compared to gamepass version.. got shafted being a gamepass member.
So on gamepass it only has fsr and it doesn't even work.. frame gen doesn't work.. there is horrible input lag and many are forced to be capped at 60 fps.. It's a shame.. Does dlss actually function in this version and is there noticeable input lag? Definitely not pirating it until the $20 a month subscription i barely use fixes the one game i actually want to play..

I noticed some serious ghosting on the game pass version even when I'm not using FSR or the AMD one. DLSS isn't even selectable and I'm not convinced the 120 fps mode is actually working properly. Frame gen also definitely doesn't do anything

So it's not me then. I've noticed that to. At times it looks good, but when the action goes into overdrive, it becomes a blurry mess.
I have the Master Collection on Steam and Sigma 2 is SO much sharper. I know it's a different engine, but it's sad that an older game can look sharper throughout over a new game. Of course, it's Unreal Engine 5 which I really don't like.

fsr doesn't even work in my experience.. some say it does when you restart but its the worst implementation ever according to them. Like it's auto set to performance mode or something. For me it just wouldn't work. They probably rushed it out because of the announcement and xbox is late to patch pc games, but, people have said dlss are in the files. I've seen many gamepass games emit dlss and RT and never add them.. This could be one of those situations.. I never been so hyped for a game that i didn't know was coming just to be so let down lol

yeah, its not you.. I would buy it on steam but can't justify it when i'm paying for a service that has it.. I've already found the steam version elsewhere..
Steam version has DLSS and Reflex. Runs like butter here at 4K/60 fps+ with RT + DLSS Performance + FG. R5 7600, RTX 4070, Win 11

beautiful.. theres no reflex on gamepass either.. I'm about to cancel that crap.. Absurd they can't make 1 for 1 versions of games.
For me I can't select more than 60 fps, sitting at a 100hz monitor.
Also I'm using gamepass version, is it cooked? Game runs like crap, got a toxic 6900xt well an amd Ryzen 5 5600x and FSR seems not to work aswell.
Cant select DLSS and reflex, gamepad doesnt work either on gamepass version. Trully 2025 gaming moment.

gamepass version is awful untested microsoft obviously haven't tested it and passed certification. they want people to buy the Series X version which funny enough works really well. and the steam version works properly as it should also. dead company trying to sell their crappy consoles and half a$$ing the PC versions as they normally do. this game works flawless on steam go figure. not only a waste of $20 for their subscription but a headache for the past hour.

My game runs at 90 - 118 fps, but honestly anything under 110 feels really choppy. IDK if its frame pacing or what, but not good. And yeah, ghosting is abysmal, and FSR looks like hot garbage up close. Also yes, frame gen doesnt work at all. IDK if its just that AMD software is abysmal or not implemented properly.

you need to restart the game after you enable FSR3 Frame Gen. but yeah wouldnt recommend the gamepass version at all i benchmarked the gamepass version. DLSS and stuff dont work on this version Microsoft are a bit late on keeping the game updated on gamepass day one compared to steam. is what it is id rather not buy the game full price in its current state right now either.

xbox game pass shouldnt treat its games differently because of the lower price attribute all games should function and work correctly as retail and it should include all features setting and what not what xbox dont know is that 20 dollar subscription does add up over time and it is worth to make both versions viable instead of leaving stuff out

too bad no one important will see my relevant input
I'm so glad i'm not by myself on this one. Why did they even create this game again. All of those upscalers are so NOT NEEDED for skilled devs. And are not the crutch for lame ones. Ghosting in a NJ game LMFAO And this one as well. NJ2 that mixed up the genre so much and was a classic from the off

Users can say what they want in defence of this game. But Tomonobu Itagaki wouldn't be impressed by the visual style/implementation or the fluid action. That intro sequence changed my whole perception and experience with this game. This version was so washed out and messy. I uninstalled it after i finished that fight. I've done that fight hundreds of times. That was the worse ANTI-CLIMATIC experience i've had with any NJ game. It was so lame and underwhelming and almost deleted my memory of the original NJ2. Even Sigma didn't mess with the visuals so much

I'm done with this game. I know NJ2 like the back of my hand. So i can skip this poor attempt at bringing it back..
