controller issue or game issue?
Hey, so I took my controller apart to see if it's an issue, cleaned it, I have a logitech F310 controller. The left joystick movement keeps alternating between slowass walk and regular movement to the point where I'm like, is movement based on me pressing the button in or not? have no problems when I'm in combat, just when I'm running/moving point to point. Tried my son's F310 which he barely ever uses, and it's the same thing. Trying to figure out if it doesn't like the gamepad or something.

I am also running into the same issue but im using a ps4 controller, i can only assume its a game issue but who knows.

Edit: Well, one thing i noticed is that when i barely tilt the left stick, i would start running but go to a walk when tilted all the way. i usually run DS4windows when i use my ps4 controller. once i closed it, i had regular movement. i dont know if you happen to use a 3rd party program with you controller at could be an issue, but i assume that what could be the case is that they programmed the game with the ps and xbox controllers in mind and nothing else.

If so, you may be SOL using your logitech controller unless someone else found a work around or team ninja patches more support

It might relate to the types of controllers you’re using.

For the Logitech F310, check whether the switch on the back is set to X or D, and try swapping it to the other (they correspond to Xinput and DirectInput, respectively).

For the PS4 controller, either try switching the game over to Steam Input, or try it with a different controller if you have one around (didn’t have an issue with the Xbox Series controller).

Ye having similar issues the game seems to not want to respond to my xbox controller inputs when i attack, i can move around fine at 1st but the moment i throw an attack i just stop moving completely for about 2 seconds

Not exactly the same problem here... but on my new Gamesir G7 the movement doesn't feel as responsive as it does on the Master Collection

Ryu keeps walking in a straight line even after turning the joystick 30° or so. Also, sometimes izuna doesn't work, it does an "xXxxy" attack instead of the "xYxxxy" one, and I don't want to sound presumptuous, but after playing I don't think it's a skill issue

Try turning off V-Sync and Framegen and enable NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency some guy named coop in another thread about input lag suggested that and it worked for me

Using an Xbox series controller and i noticed movement issues too. Ended up refunding and buying it for Xbox and no issues there.
i have an xbox elite 2 and the game doesnt even want to use it, plugged in or wireless.
