Why make this over 1/3 remaster?
I am just honestly curious why they decided to Remaster this over Ninja Gaiden 1 or 3.

For someone who has never played Ninja Gaiden before, you would start with 1 then play the insanely improved version of 2 and then go back to the old cluncky engine for 3, it's honestly weird, especially if they want to push the franchise for Ninja Gaiden 4.

Also what do you think are the chances we will get a remaster of 1 and 3 in the same style as this?

Nobody should play ninja gaiden 3 to begin with and 4 will probably suck since platinum havent made a good game since nier automata

XD you're wrong. Nier Automata is meh as well as far as gameplay goes. It's part mini-game compilation and part Bayonetta 2 combat except without as much depth. Platinum's final good games were The Wonderful 101 in 2013 and Bayonetta 2 in 2014.

Then give me a non biased reason why you should skip Ninja Gaiden 3. It's worse then 1 and 2 for sure, but it's still better then most games releasing nowadays.

I could even use your own argument against you, that out of the three games, Ninja Gaiden 3 needed the Remaster/Remake treatment the most to make it into a better game.

Additionally the majority of people would disagree with both of you about Platinum Games, as they have made Bayonetta 3 in 2022 which got a Metacritic of 86, which is really far away from a bad game.

i would love the same treatment for Razor's Edge. 2 is still the best one Imo but 3 RE is also quite fun
Because the lack of gore in the Master Collection version of NG2 was a huge sticking point for fans. Games journalists and speedrunners weren't kind to the Master Collection as a result. Lack of graphics options and a low-effort port in general upset a lot of people.

Modders made a Sigma 2 Black mod. It restored gore, AI scripts and enemy counts and rebalanced the game to be like the Xbox 360 version with the exceptions of some costumes, weapon upgrades and some boss fights playing more like the Sigma version.

Ninja Gaiden 2 Black is yet another version where the gameplay is balanced as a midpoint between NG2 and Sigma 2. Enemy counts and health levels are in the middle. Upgrades and bosses play like vanilla NG2.

no they dont lmfao

so many people who clearly werent alive when NG2 came out saying "no bro this is just like OG" based on absolutely nothing.
IMO, it's worth buying this and the Master Collection for the Sigma 2 Black mod. Same is true of the original Xbox 360 version. Try all of them since they're all different and see which you like best.
Also, OG NG2 has a worm boss which can fall through the game world and become unbeatable at random. A new version that's a midpoint between original and Sigma 2 is actually ideal since that worm boss was bugged and I've had to reload saves in vanilla more times than I care to admit. Source code is also lost. If you JUST want the enemy counts with limited health, try the Sigma 2 Black mod with the Master Collection.

Definitely surprised they decided to remaster this one instead of 1 first. I don't think remastering 3 is necessary as the graphics still hold up well today IMO.

did you just say over 3? lol what? 3 is awful, we pretend that game didn't happen ok. 1 has black and sig and the port on pc. 2 has what? a bad port on pc with no gore? yeah i think they made the right choice.

Again, wouldn't it have been better to improve the worst game in the franchise, instead of remastering a game, that didn't really need a remaster in the first place?

Well Yoko Taro literally did tell Platinum to make the combat as basic as they can. So you can't really fault something intentional.
