Don't buy it. It's a Sigma 2 based remaster.
I've reached Chapter 2 on Very Hard. Yes. I hoped that the encounters would be similar to the original ones from Very Hard.

Reality is harsh. It's the same as the Sigma 2 encounters. The difference is that there are a few more enemies.

For a while, I've been watching the Ninja Gaiden community closely to see if this game is moddable. As a result, yes, modders seem to be interested. The fact that it's made with UE5 and thus easier to mod has changed my mind.

I bought the game again after the refund. If you didn't buy the game after reading my post or got a refund, you can buy it on sale or if you think Ninja Gaiden should come back to the market, you can buy it now.
Yeah I mean, if you care about Ninja Gaiden and want to see more you should just delete this post lol. Sure maybe it's not perfect but it's a step in the right direction after the last release; I'm honestly stunned that they did even this.

You know when they'll stop trying? When people stop showing interest/stop buying. I think it's a good effort and I think it's worthwhile such as it is, even if it's not the Black version that some of us would've wanted.

ofc its good dude, its not as crazy as vanilla 2 but you wouldnt even noticed i think its better for a beginner from a balancing standpoint
It's still a good game. The main problem people are having with it is that it's based on the worst version of the game (and most of the ones arguing against it never played any of the Xbox versions).

Thanks, brother! I love ninja games. I'm all about games like Ghost of Tsushima, Sekiro, Rise of The Ronin, Wu Long, Nioh, etc. I even bought the new Dynasty Warrior game having never played the others. This looks to play a lot like DMC from the footage I've seen.

Yup and let's not forget how he used to love microsoft, resulting of making NGB and NG2 Xbox exclusive, cause he beleived it's the most powerful console for his games.

A bit of shame since NG01 (2004) was planned to be released on PS2.

And there is a reason why LOL. The OG 2004 Ninja Gaiden (and subsequently the Black edition that came out within a year later) absolutely pushed the Xbox to its limits. There's no way that game could have ever ran on PS2 hardware in the state it was released at the time, and it's pretty much the same reason why Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 on the PS3 had to water down the 360 version of NG2 as much as it did back then too (vastly lower enemy count on screen for instance) for pretty much similar reasons.
Bruh have you seen how God of War 1,2 pushed the PS2 to his limit and the same with God of War 3 and ascension on PS3 ?, I'm sure NG Black and Vanilla 2 could do the same but developing for something complexe was not his favorite.

Forgot also their PSP counterpart
Don't listen to this person. Its still NG2. Say the one main thing that it doesn't have are the trials. But honest;y that doesn't seem like a huge issue, not one to be crying about.

Yall crying is getting super old now.
OP is right. Sigma 2 fans have no taste.

Or simply blame Hayashi for making Sigma easier

If it bothers you so much, get out of here, people will keep complaining and there is nothing you can do to stop it, besides, they are right :bbtcat:

OG Xbox was much more powerful than PS2 and more capable to do visual/quantity things which was possible with constant framerate in NG Black. Even textures and some models are more detailed than Shadow of the Colossus.

No they are not right. They are a bunch of babies complaining about nothing. We got a remaster (almost a remake) of NG2. A series that has been silent for a long time. And yall want to go around complaining for no damn reason? Grow the hell up.

Yaiba wasn't really a "true" NG game. And that was just a collection of the games, not a remaster that is kind of like a remake.

Mmm just about. Again the collection was just that, a collection of the games. Nothing new or remaster like. So yeah, it has been a pretty long while.
