Hitlag I think, and theres even a mod in the NGS2 black mod to remove the hitlag and make attacks feel more responsive
so either this is based on Sigma 2's code or Team Ninja really insists on the hit-lag mechanic (it was there in Ninja Gaiden 3 as well)
And when exactly was the last time a Ninja Gaiden game came out?
ps: the ragdolls are cool though.
Game has been running perfectly smooth for me. No spikes, no drops and no stutters.
The Windows Store/Game Pass version apparently has problems. Like DLSS nor working and stutters.
But for very very obvious reasons which can easily be forgiven based on the overall experiences those specific instances gave us.
