remake of the 360 or the Sigma version?

I played sigma with no blood and low enemy count I can see this version has blood but ive never played the 360 version so I wonder if this version is built on sigma with low enemy counts or the OG with all the enemies I cant really tell

it seems to be closer to the original but to be honest I see it more as a third version of Ninja Gaiden 2 instead of a 1:1 remaster

Im hoping its closer to the og cuz Ive heard they are different games and ive always wanted to try the og. I just dont see a ton of enemies in the trailer so I wonder if it will be a similar experience

Seems to be a brand new version that's based on the original game with all the content from Sigma. It has the original shop-based progression according to the official site. Remains to be seen if it's got the enemy composition and balance of the original game. I'd actually like the original unlockable costumes from the 360 verison to be in as well, even if they are simple reskins. That golden tribal costume was hilarious.

right now my biggest concern is the balancing I enjoyed sigma but Im hoping for something much closer to 360 cuz I dont have an xbox and wanna play the og extra content I can take or leave tbh

It's the OG, remade in Unreal 5 engine, but with blood and body dismemberment.

Based off of the interview found here: https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2025/01/23/ninja-gaiden-4-developer-direct-2025/ This seems to be the right answer.

It isn't Vanilla 2 or Sigma 2, but a third version of the game that tries to stay true to Vanilla, while incorporating extras from Sigma, and new balancing/ features.

It will be exciting to compare it to the other versions of the game.

Personally, I actually would have loved for the OG to have been available on PC, mostly out of concern for the system requirements given my rig has been getting on the years and can no longer run most new games as well. This one for instance is just out of reach for my PC.

A version with lower system requirements would have been nice for me.
