Will this game be updated?

I know it may seem like a silly question in this day and age but i have seen many PC ports left at the release gate. It's also normally the ones from seperate devs that specialize in ports and move on (seemingly could be FSP).
basically what i'm asking for is some assurance that if i buy this game the issues littered throughout these forums will be cleaned up (or atleast some of them).
I've been really keen to get this game as i was a big fan of the original and the option to look and walk at the same time is what i'm interested in most, but if these features are annoying to use due to UI then what's the point?

There is a sticky up top that addresses this question. The developer posted that a "community feedback patch" will be released. I want to be hesitant but this is my first experience with Double Eleven and I have no reason to believe they won't deliver... but then again my experience with Ubisoft wants me to second guess this notion..

oh yes i see it now, thanks for the reply. i think i will end up purchasing it now for the discount stacking/double copy deal. Good to know that the devs are addressing the issues and this wont be another port with wasted potential.
