Difference between prime and original?

Prime size is 310 MB while the original is 1,9GB, why?

Prime has by far more improved graphics, which should make the game larger, so why is this one so much smaller?

Has the AI been toned down are there less strategic options whats the prob?

There's actually more strategic options, a couple of extra multiplayer modes and as far as I can find, no rational reason why it's smaller. It's very strange.

That said, the store page for Frozen Synapse says it only requires 220MB, while Prime requires 450.

I believe there is crossplatform between PC & PS4/PS3/PS Vita - not that it says so on the Steam store page but it does or did when I got it for my PS Vita.
