General FAQ
Can you play in VR and non-VR?
Yes, it supports both. This game was designed from the ground up to be played with or without a VR device.

Do I have to purchase seperate games to play both versions?
No need for multiple purchases, you will be prompted you to play in VR or Non-VR Mode when launching the game.

What VR Devices are supported?
HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR

How long is the game?
The average playtime varies between 2-3 hours, depending on how much you explore the house. Our testers found this is an ideal playtime to be balanced between VR and Non-VR.

Is this the same as the 2017 horror film?
The game was developed alongside the film of the same name. It is not a direct copy however and you don't have to watch the film to understand the game. If you would like to watch the film, it is available to Rent or Buy on Amazon, Netflix, Sky Cinema, PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, iTunes and Google Play.

Locomotion in VR
The game now supports both intuitive teleportation and walking locomotion.

Teleportation: The default method for no motion sickness purposes. Features a fade-to-black to match the slower pacing of the game without breaking immersion.

Locomotion: Activated from the menu. Push to walk forward in the direction your head is facing. To increase immersion, you are able to look left and right whilst moving in the direction you were initially heading in. A strafe movement is also added when moving the stick left to right.

Supported Play Modes
When the game is run from your Steam Library, you get a choice of which method you wish to play: VR Vive, VR Oculus, Non VR. You can switch between each mode and carry on from your save point after a restart of the game.

Supported Controllers
Non VR – Keyboard / Mouse, Standard Controller
Vive VR – Single or Dual Vive Hand Controllers
Oculus VR – Single or Dual Touch Controllers, Standard Controller

Save Data
The game automatically saves and the save data is compatible between the different Play Modes.

Brightness
You can change the brightness and gamma only in the Non-VR Play Mode.

Additional VR Features
- Distance Grabbing or "Stretchy Hands" is an available option in Oculus VR Mode.
- One-Click 90 degree flip buttons are available in Oculus VR Mode.

Gameplay Area
- Seated
- Standing
- Room-Scale

Languages
The game supports the following languages:
  • English
  • French
  • Italian
  • German
  • Spanish
  • Portuguese
  • Russian
  • Chinese (Simplified)
  • Polish
  • Welsh
We will look to support more languages if we have enough demand from the community.

Happy to see walking locomotion is included, could you maybe add direction with controller in a future update? Anyway pre ordering now.

I'm really happy walking locomotion is supported, I just wish I could just point the vive controller in the direction I wished to go and I'm finding it fiddly walking, Also I have found I've ended up walking backwards when pressing forwards which is a bit odd, I've got stuck a few times but used room scale to get myself out of furniture.

You are right there! my mother spoke fluent Welsh sadly I do not, so pleased to see another Welsh dev. Rhiannon is still one of my all time favorite p&c adventure games along with the lost crown, very good indeed.

Can I play a demo version without a VR? I start the game, see a window with some dark shadows and nothing happens...

Am trying to right now, and the answer seems to be 'no' unfortunately.
