Life is Feudal: Arden offers a free-to-play experience, with certain features like guild creation requiring a premium subscription. A guild needs at least 10 premium-subscription characters (or 5 players with 2 characters each) to establish and maintain its claim. This system was implemented to prevent abuse, such as players creating multiple free accounts to spam claims across the map, which could lead to a less enjoyable experience for everyone. The intent is to promote a fairer and more balanced gameplay environment while ensuring claims are meaningful and sustainable.
You can join an already existing guild, so a premium is not a hard requirement in this regard. If the number of premium players in a guild drops below 5, it will not disappear instantly. The guild master will receive a notification, and they will have 72 hours to find a replacement.
