Official clarification on situation with subscriptions

Dear Feudals,

We would like to address the situation which new players might encounter when downloading Arden and running the game for the first time. Upon opening the launcher or vising profile on the official website, you might notice that you have an enabled trial subscription for Life is Feudal: MMO.

We want to highlight that Life is Feudal: Arden is a F2P game that does not require any subscription on your part. At the same time, Life is Feudal: MMO is a subscription based game.

As both games are operated by the same studio, a player receives bonuses for each of them when creating their account. This means that when you first create a profile to play LiF: Arden, you will automatically receive trial subscription for LiF: MMO as a default bonus.

It is important to clarify the following points:
1. The subscription does not have an auto-prolongation option. Once the trial period is over, the game won't launch until you make a payment to unlock the option.
2. The game cannot charge players for subscription without their explicit consent.

We apologize for the discomfort the situation might have caused you, and we understand that it might have been perceived in a certain light. Steam platform has a multilayered procedure that prevents unfair conduct of business, and we wouldn't be here unless we fully comply with the policies.

We will continue monitoring, and we will issue additional statements if the situation demands it.

Some players may receive a 7-day subscription, while others might receive 37 days. The duration depends on whether you played Life is Feudal: MMO before its relaunch under the LTG banner.
