The news page and store page literally tells you the differences and what this is.
Are gamers on Steam actually illiterate now?
1: In the description they say its built off the foundation but says nothing about what's actually new if any.
2: Info about the game shows "New Lands" which you can assume would be the only new thing about the game which is not much if it's that alone and I would still consider a scam.
Reading the news, there is nothing about it's differences, that part is a lie.
Sunken cost fallacy, I guess. Game is a dud. Call it and kill it.
Life is Feudal: MMO is indeed subscription-based, and we want to ensure transparency with all players. As noted on the Steam page, new players are eligible for a 7-day trial period, giving them a chance to explore the game. And, if they choose to continue playing beyond that trial, a subscription is required to access all the game's features and content.
It's important to note that Life is Feudal: MMO and Life is Feudal: Arden are two separate, standalone games. The similarities in screenshots and thematic elements arise from Arden drawing inspiration from its predecessor, which may explain why certain visual and gameplay aspects appear similar. Life is Feudal: Arden delivers a free-to-play experience set in a vast and evolving medieval world. With a new map, updated gameplay mechanics, and new opportunities for exploration, Arden invites players to craft their own stories.
I'm simply stating the info OP is talking about is *literally* listed.
Go talk about coping or whatever to somebody who gives a damn. Actually read the context of a message next time fool.
This game looks like the exact same game.
So I'd challenge the devs since they seem to respond to these threads. Please list the major differences between this LIF and the previous MMO that justifies you calling this a new game.
Zam....what you got to say now, Holaza.
The devs likely will not respond to this. I also played the MMO when it wasn't on steam as a standalone for a long time until it's unfortunate end, but seeing these guys take over and only have one new map to show for 2 years of development after the "Foundation" was already laid out for them. There's been near to no marketing because I sure as hell haven't seen anything about this version of the game. It just feels like a cash grab to bait the loyal veterans and the ignorant new players to spend money before they bin the shell all together.
Please prove me wrong devs, I really do not want to be right, but I have never heard of you in my life, your company appears to be from Malaysia according to linkedin and is relatively new only opening in 2023, with around 10 employees being from Russia at best, which means the likelihood of you having any of the original developers to be very very small.
Nice research! If they are from russia then it is probably the same people behind it again, just using proxies for another round of cash grab. Because it is literally 1:1 the same garbage code compared to 2015/16 release, the same "no response to anything dev behaviour", the same cashshop updates and the same ingame problems.
The premium subscription in Arden is optional and available alongside other items in the in-game shop. It works as a “consumable,” allowing you to activate it whenever you choose through your inventory, rather than it starting immediately upon purchase.
Thanks, but no thanks.
