Stuck on the end screen

HELP I AM STUCK AT THE END SCREEN I CANNOT STOP THE GAME.

But there is no menu to quit! Pressing Escape didn't work.

Well it is the universal window/program close shortcut in Windows. (And there's also stuff like Ctrl+C in the command line if we wanna get even more basic.)

I guess it's unusual in the sense that modern games typically have their own dedicated quit command in-game, especially since most of them are designed to be operated from within, possibly fullscreened and possibly played via gamepad.

But the fundamentals can still be useful.
