How to play this on a Windows 11.

As the title says.
I've seen various guides on how to play on Windows 10, tried to apply them but failed every time, so I'm asking for an easy step by step guide to:
- Play this on Windows 11.
- Fullscreen.

1. Get this file DDrawCompat-v0.4.0.zip and download it
from https://github.com/narzoul/DDrawCompat/releases/tag/v0.4.0
2. Go to Deadlock II - Shrine Wars and right click.
3. Click Properties and select Local Files
4. Select Browse and it'll open up Deadlock2 Folder
5. Open the file DDrawCompat-v0.4.0.zip and locate ddraw.dll
6. Copy and paste ddraw.dll into Deadlock2 Folder
7. Play Deadlock II - Shrine Wars.

I did all the steps but now i don't get the message popup - the game simply appears to run on steam but the game's window doesn't appear.

Same here. Steam says the game is running but nothing pops up. What are we missing (DON'T SAY SKILL)?
