Shrine Campaigns Completed + How to win
Used to love this game back in the day, started playing again recently for nastalgia. I've been able to beat all of the Campaigns, although I'm still working on redoing the Relu which is the most difficult.

I'm sharing my saved games which will jump you right before the ending of each Race on their final level, feel free to check them out @ https://cnckw1.com/deadlock/ - Drop them in the Deadlock2\Campaign folder and then you should be able to load from the save games, finish the last few turns, and you'll see the cinematics for each. For Tarth, delete the shrine on the water territory.

i saw a few posts with difficulties, instead of responding, figured I'd write a new post.

As the game can be very difficult and frustrating, one great trick is to use the Autosave, so if you get attacked, reload the autosave and build defenses in the territory you were attacked. Perhaps this is cheating, feel free to try without it and let me know how you do =)

There's of course more to it, but here's a quick summary on how to beat the game. In general my strategy is to expand to 2 territories right away and start researching while upgrading housing and minimum needed supplies (food, energy, etc), you want the 1st row of research and then synthetic fertilizer for farming, chaos computers, and a few key others in this 2nd row. Then I like to go for orbital surveilance and anti matter deflectors unless I need more iron I'll go for sub space scanner. in general at first you need to build up wood supply to get culture centers housing and surface mines, then you build up your iron to get higher tech buildings.

Cloning centers are very helpful if you're growing slowly with plenty of resources.

From there ill expand to 3 more territories (5 total) and focus on more research labs (make sure to set almost all to research not electronics parts) ill also build a bunch of automated factories and set all colonists to trade. Then the idea is to survive long enough to get the best tech research for units and build up lots of trade buildings for $$$. On timed missions (turn counts) you can use mid tech to build an army from here and focus less on research.

Once I get a decent army about 10 infantry and 10 tanks, 2 medics and 2 command corps (both improve your army). I'll train them at the military training, which is super important, then attack a weak territory. Build up the territory with almost all metal replication facilities for more trade value. Repeat this a few times to get about 10 total territories half of which are just to metal reps for heavy eco.

Then I'll build air fields and 30 supernova spy jets with 5 air command, then you can demolish everything, after using the air army, send a few tanks to the territory and if you're eco is good you can just demolish everything, or set the housing and museums as a minimum.

You can take a look at my save games to see live examples.

I can expand a lot more, figured this is a good start.

Please ask any questions or missions you are struggling with I'd love to help =)

What race do you find the most OP?
I myself feel it is the Ch-Cht. They just multiply so fast, and as long as you have a cultural centre upgraded they never riot.
