[Fix] How to run the game in 64-bit

hi, this is how to fix the game in 3 steps.
1. press WinKey + R and type CMD and click OK. Copy and paste this line
subst X: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Deadlock"
and press enter (right mouse button click and paste)
2. Open the drive X: drive. on deadlock.exe press the right mouse button and select Properties. open the Compatibility tab select Windows 95 and click OK.
3. open the deadlock.exe in drive x: then have fun

olá a todos. vou mostrar como consertar o jogo em 3 passos.
1. pressione WinKey + R e digite CMD e clique em OK. copie e cole essa linha

i saw this the store page:
To load the game Deadlock: Planetary Conquest have to enter the Deadlock folder.
Delete the file WAIL32.DLL.
The game will load normally.
I only tested this playing solo, online / multiplayer, i don`t know if works or not.

Wow I feel bad for my steam bros who cant get Deadlock to run. What a shame. It's a gem. I got my game from GOG. Haven't a problem running it on 64-bit. Get it on a sale is my quickfix for this issue :D

once again steam cannot figure out how to sell games that actually work..
- sorry! that was ... well it ends up being worse.. see, I was thinking of origin....

Agreed, renaming/deleting WAIL32.DDL worked for me on Windows 10 64-Bit Pro.

Regarding full-screen, you could change screen resolution to something more compatible with what the game was designed for - Say 1024x768 or 1280x1024.

Deleted the WAIL32.DLL and everything is allright now hahaha Nightdive really messed up here.

how do I get the music to play? I deleted the wail32.dll file and that made it run. I can here the class leader talk, but i cant hear any music?

Oi, então, eu consegui fazer o jogo rodar no meu, mas quando eu começo a jogar e vou dar zoom na cidade, o jogo fecha... Você teve esse problema também? Sabe como resolver?
