Bots in every match, where are the players?

I've played 5 matches and found 0 real players, I'm level 6 at this point and I'm yet to find one real player, I look for people, run around the map, and the only "players" I find are called BestShotEver or DarkWarriorSense or some other generic name in the same format. They play like bots, continue to PvE while being attacked, dont carry any decent loot, and provide nothing for the run. There's 20k players, I spend 30s-1m in matchmaking queue, only to be put in a lobby where theres 0 real humans playing, or maybe there's another team but we never crossed paths. There needs to be more players in each lobby so we find each other! Also no bots in the second, "advanced" map, please...

From my third game onwards, I was matched exclusively with real players—zero bots. I actually thought they were bots until they started playing like pros xD

They match you with bots in your first few games to trick new players into thinking they are awesome at the game. Then once they are out of the refund window they get matched with players.

It even says at the end of the round "Player Kills" when the bots are killed. Blatantly misleading to try and get players engaged early on.

Or mby since they are new players, they get bots... Crazy, right?

Or, or they do like games have done for decades, they let u vs bots so u get the hang of it, how to fight , how to loot. Its often called a tutorial.
