If your Steam Account is NA, and you've been using US currency, then you'll be on the NA server.

Battlefield servers will be deployed in China, the United States, Germany, Singapore, and Brazil.

Unfortunately, if you're in another region and have been using Steam there, then it's going to region lock you. My Oceanic friends are either or China or Singapore servers, and hating it atm.

If you invite them to play trios, could you just select the server for the party and make it work?

i agree, this is so stupid, i cant play in a more central server with my friends from other places
