I am a big fan of the emergency franchise and was waiting for this one to come out. The producers said it was going to be a totally new experience, better graphics etc. Unfortunately I think they didn't do a great job, certainly whe asking a price like that for a game which lacks the basics.

Cars get often stuck in the surroundings
They can jump of bridges
Traffic direction sucks
When you give an order to one of the AI's, they don't respond for about 15 seconds (prety important when you have to be quick)
The game lags very much when a lot of units are on the scene
etc.

There is practically nothing new to the gameplay, you still have the same units there are still the same emergencies. I hoped that would have gone deeper into different emergencies by for exemple investigating an accident or fire. Dealing with aftermath of disasters. Being able to set of a certain area without losing time etc. Or at least something new instead of only the graphics.

Poor game for the amout of money that you spend...

This is an another example of the way developers are these days.
-Don't test their ♥♥♥♥.
-Releases a 1/2 game.
-Do not care to optimise it.
-Releases for a extremely high price, without putting any efford in it.

Quick but easy:
At this stage the game is not playable. Wait a few months for updates to come out, and the price will drop aswell.

To the developers;
It's a shame how you can bring out a game like that. I ain't being mean or rude against you guys, but it's redicilous how the state of this game is right now. I played multiplayer for 1 hour, and it just shows how horrible optimised it is. Host is lagging as ♥♥♥♥, make the another lose connection for several seconds, Horrible buggy co-op vehicle models, and what made me pissed the most is that the AI's are not available in the Multiplayer. "Heal the infected civillian before he infects more", How can he infect more people if he is the only damn person available in the entire map. I had to heal and bring someone to the hospital after resquing him from a building, the body dissapeared on my screen and not for the host. The host had to quit doing what he did to help me out with the wounded person that I couldn't see.

We aren't even talking about the controls of the game...
It's just annoying how you have to control the vehicle. You have a few burning buildings lining each other. It takes forever to send the firefighter from the first to the second building, Not because he is slow, but because he walks the wrong way and takes a de detour to the next building house. It annoyed me so much that I shouted at the first person entering my room. Sending a vehicle to the location? Not after the giant tour they take trough the city. It literally gave me suicide attempts after telling an AI for the 20th time where he had to go.

Now we are going to talk about the graphics of the game...
Grapics are amazing, they look cool. Fire seems nice, if you have it running on ultra. Well, I have the I7-3770k with R9 290 videocard, and I am proud to run this game on medium. Game looks decent on medium if it was released 5 years ago... If there is enourgh fire (on medium settings), it makes my PC lagg as hard as"Assassins Creed - Unity" on Ultra settings. I cried on the release on Unity, but this made me literally die inside.

So what should you do as a customer?
Run, Run as hard as you can. Don't turn around, there is no way to rescue the 50 euro I invested in this game, and you will lose yours if you do not listen to all the bad reviews of this game. I wasted 2 hours in this game that I will never get back. I suggest you using those 2 hours wisely, and don't put it in this game.

Could be a fun game but:

Badly optimised, becomes unplayeable even on the best pc around.

Bad bugs that means you will constantly fail missions.

Unplayeable for the two reasons above alone, game breaking, should never have been released.

Finally the price, at the moment the most it is worth is roughly 9.99 and at the current price it is just disgusting how they get away with it.

Still crashing and buggy as hell

Much too short for the price. The integration of the city and mission maps feels like a distraction from how short the missions are. Pathfinding is terrible, maps are buggy--Berlin in particular had a couple sets of stairs which personnel could not climb on foot, making some of the scripted incidents very difficult to resolve. "Deluxe" edition's new map didn't add campaign missions. Can't recommend.

Huge Fan of the Emergancy Series. Creator of WCCM, Not happy with the release of this game, the dev team for this game showed alot of promise with all the contact they had with the community which not alot of game makers do that. Even with the new Patch there are still quite a few issues, the FPS Spikes and choppiness is still present and this has been tried on 4 different computers with varying specs.

Dont buy it, get a refund, wait for a sale, wait for a patch.
Thats my advice, I regret buying it now, it is very unplayable to me.

I have bought the game on sale for €25 and I would say it is barely worth that money. It is defenitly not worth the full price of €50 that it is right now. I have completed the game in 13 hours. It is a fun game but the missions are almost all the same. If you are in the same city for half an hour you will basicaly know all the missions as they start to repeat. When I finished the last mission and the credits started to roll, I was supprised, I thought there would me more.

TLDR: fun game, not worth the money

Game is far from optimised! Even with a high spec computer, i keep getting crashes due to lag, and i have a FPS for 20-30 with games like Rome total war 2 on ultra running 60 FPS.
This game WILL get better and i will change my review when this happends, but for now i will NOT recommend this!

Ok I am updating my review and I tried it and the game is still slow. I still can't recommend this IN MY OPINION. This game has very good concept, but it just have slow frames. I have the maximum requirements and the game runs slow. I will recommend this when the deveolpers can update the game and fix the frame rate. It goes so slow and it can be a a nuisance. The graphics look excellent and the new added features such as: the pepper spray all is very good. I think one update will fix the issues in the game.

[Pre 1.2 update] Definately do not buy this game until at least a few major updates have been rolled out. The game "runs" so poorly that I wouldnt even think it was releasable as an alpha version on steam, let alone releasing a full version.

I have a fairly average computer, but by observing other reviews of the game, my problems are shared amongst nearly all other players. The gametakes about 5 minutes to load a map (if it loads at all), from there I watch a less then 1 fps cutscene for the next few minutes and then the game finally starts. The game runs patchy and a framerate of less then 1fps remains as a constant except for 2-5 second bursts of nothing and normal gameplay interchangeably. The framerate issues make gameplay impossible and this is shared accross all game modes.

Toggling any settings in the menues will cause the game to crash, however upon relaunching the game, the settings have usually saved. Running the game at low specs does not change a thing and I believe the game probably runs better at higher quality textures...?

By looking at the game description and trailers, the developers seem to have implemented many great features which is why i purchased the game to start with. Unfortunately though, I would say that even if the features where executed well, the gameplay side of things was not executed at all. I am a big fan of the series and love the style of this game, but at its current 'build', I don't know how it passed Quality control. (Needed $?)

I Will be asking for a full refund of my $49.99 from this unplayable 'disaster game' ;)

Spend hours with my friend trying to get the game to work, after digging trough the setting files we finally managed to get it to start,
turns out it's horrible at starting at a proper resolution and you've got to put it in manually
then we tried to get multiplayer working and we were unable to do so after disabling all firewall/anti virus, running the program and launcher in administrator mode, doing the port forwards on the router as instructed
usually I'm quite a resourceful guy and don't admit my defeat easily, but this game just doesn't want to work at all and has been a pain in the neck throughout the whole experience
even the singleplayer campaign decides to crash on you frequently as I was trying to learn the game while my friend was taking his turn trying to figure out how to get things to work
I surely hope you don't consider clicking "Host game"/"Join game" "Connecting..." "Unable to connect" playing a game
