problem with EM5

hi, this morning i started EM5
the screenresolution was not verry good so i changed it

but now the problem is that always i start EM5 i hear the game but i have black screen
plz can some one help me

i already deinstalled and instaled the game

when i cole the black window i have this
exception: ORGE EXCEPTION (3:renderingAPIException): Unable to disable textrure '0' in D3D9 in D3D9Device::clearDeviceStrams at ../../../RennderSystems/Direct3D9/src/OgreD3D9Device.cpp(line630)

Although you said you reinstalled the game, it could be worth trying to verify the game cache. I'm havig the same problem, except that i don't see any error messages. Probably the problemis withthe game resolution.

OK i found the file. Its ridiculous that the devs didn't test thiscorrectly. The file is in C:\Users\(your windows user name)\AppData\Roaming\Promotion Software GmbH\EMERGENCY 5. The name of the file is emergency_5_settings, you have to open it with notepad and change the settings to a resolution adequate to your computer. "WindowSize": "720 480",
"Resolution": "1366 768",

yep this game needs so many patchs and updates they might as well redo everything

i also have this problem, will steam be releasing an update? Because the patch released from deep silver apparently fixes this issue... I couldn't find a quick fix on the deep silver website...

Do what i did, just check my post here 2 posts before.

I found this on the emergency-forum.de forum:

First when running the game try pressing alt + enter to switch from fullscreen to window.
If that doesn't work find emergency_5_settings.json in

C:\Users\(your windows user name)\AppData\Roaming\Promotion Software GmbH\EMERGENCY 5\

Open it with wordpad and find the entry "Fullscreen": "True",
change true to false and start the game.

It's annoying but worked for me as a temporary solution it until they can fix it properly.
