I agree; I don't think anything will ever beat the original EM4/911FR game. I wish it did; it could do with an update... but these developers seem to have taken a step backwards.

I've reported Emergency 2017 to Steam, since I consider it fraudulent to advertise a release date (oct, 2016), and a year (2017) to what is essentially an much older game (Emergency 5), especially as this basically breaks Steam.

You can't write a review for Emergency 5 nor Emergency 2017 (without buying it), and noone considering Emergency 2017 can be informed, that they are buying a 2+ year old "brand new game", that is still buggy as f...

I agree with the conclusions herein, I also played Emergency 4, and would consider EM4+L.A.Mod to be better than anything this developer could ever achieve. I bought Emergency 5 Deluxe because of the experience Emergency 4 provided, and will never purchase another game in the series again, even though I and several friends like the genre and I probably have 500 hours in Emergency 4.

@Nicoleise Completely true. They should do it like Train Sim does it. Just update the game every year, and not making people purchase the "same" game 3 times.
