Oval only means that the game needs other aspects to make it interesting. Nice Ambience, different Surfaces (Mud, Sand, Gravel, Tarmac).
Elevation changes and bumps, puddles, and weather from rain to storms, etc. Day and night with brilliant lighting effects. At night, fireworks and spotlights.
With a little bit of brainpower and hard work, you can turn even oval racing into a good game. With stinginess and laziness, even a rally game with 20 countries can be boring.
You just have to figure it out to see what the game is worth to you. How much heart is put into the product, or did the developer just throw it together to make money.
Mr. Tabone says he has a Tony Stewart dirt racing game, but won't bother telling [me] if it is All American Racing, or the first one that is the Sprint Racing one. *That's why I asked him how much he thought this is probably worth.* If it like the first game, then he is wise to wait for a much better price.* That game wasn't up to snuff, however and yet the two that followed were alot better. But neither again featured Sprint cars. This one does, and I think does it right.
This game is as good, or better, than the last couple of Monster Games: All American Racing and SRX: The Game. Do you have either of these? Are you looking at reviews at all?
If you don't have a Monster Games game then your post is simply a no brainer ('it depends on the game quality...the better the quality the more fun it is, and so it'd merit a higher price.'). I'm asking David Tabone because he does have at least one Monster Games dirt race game already.
