Building Repairs?

Do workers assigned to a building repair that building when it is damaged? Or is it just village workers that repair?

Builders do all the repairs, but if there's too much work for them going on like building tons of new buildings or walls, they'll put it off unless the building is critically damaged.

Thanks for clarifying. It would seem that the villagers assigned to the building would care that it is destroyed and repair it... if only that one building.
