How do you save and quit the game?

Seems like such a dumb thing to ask (maybe?) Couldent figure out how to quit the game. After rolling an empty beer bottle accross my keyboard hoping to find the correct key combo, I ended up alt F4ing

The save system is styled after roguelikes, all exits (including Alt+F4) will autosave the game. :)

To exit normally, just hit the main menu button (Top GUI panel, left side). Also closing out the game by clicking the X in windowed mode will also save the game. You actually have to go pretty far out of your way to close the game without it saving.
