How do you use dissolve and cullis gate?
And the other magical structure on map? Not clear to me. It seems the cullis gate can dissolve monsters, but can be damaged if you put too many. Dissolve, I don't get, it costs essence and then get back what the nearby corpses contain?
There is also a one-tile structure on map, I don't remember his name, that seems to be magical.

Yep, pretty much what you said.

The one tile structure is going to be removed from the game so don't bother... ;-]

Dissolve also removes recources from trees and crystals to generate essence.
Your first question was already answered. As for the "Ancient Radiance Pools" I'm pretty sure they just give boosts to the mobs nearby.

Not anymore. And, as I said, Ray told us he will probably remove them...

It would have been nice that those pools had a healing aura or anti-fatigue aura (subtle) towards villagers but in exchange attract monster like a lighthouse.

It worked exactly like this actually, but I think Ray has a reason why he's going to remove them.
Can't remember now... :-|
