huh? That's certainly too high. I doubled their spawn rate. But you shouldn't be getting that many.
I'll look into it, you might have actually stumbled on a bug.
Are you playing on custom mode by chance?
If not, what game mode are you playing?
Was this an old custom game mode config by chance? It's possible the custom configuration file is borked. I will check it out though to be sure. :)
ah, chances are your config file is out of date from before animal spawn settings were adjusted, so the rates are all screwed up.
Close out the game, open up profiles/gameModeConfig/ and open the template you're using in notepad, find animalSpawnRate and change the value to 200000. If it's missing entirely, add it to the list. Save and restart the game and you should be good to go. ;)
That makes it pretty much allways better to build a normal house then a doggo home, cause it can be used by both, and in the end offers more sleeping spots.
