Wood Golems mostly useless?
Personally, it seems wood golems are basically useless. Sure they move faster than stone golems, but they have less health than stone golems and crystal golems have access to better damage types while moving at the same speed (or at least they appear to move at the same speed).

The only really unique thing about wood golems is they can be upgraded to deal poison damage, however I have yet to find an enemy that is vulnerable to poison damage, quite the contrary actually I can find several that are resistant (including the common zombie).

Because of this, I just don't see the point to them. Perhaps if one of their final tiers was to give them a ranged magical attack (non-elemental, pure magical)? That would make them unique in being the only golem whose final upgrades gives them elementaless magic damage. Other than that, I am not really sure what else to do with them, as they just seem inferior to the other golems in every way.

me dont like it crystal golems coz of really low HP.
Using mix between wooden and stone golems, but mostly me using stone golems. Wooden using as fast mortar meat, making bussy enemys before stone golems came ;)

That is why I don't use many crystal golems, but having some around your base are quite nice for dealing with spectres, especially if you don't upgrade them to elemental damage.

Personally I mostly use just stone golems, haven't really had any issues with them being too slow / unable to get to places in time.

I build 3 stone, 3 wood and 3 crystal. Each one is upgraded to one of the 3 elemental upgrades, so i always have 5 every every combination on the battle field... It works really well and I dont even need towers...

in theory wood golems are "cheaper" then stone golems because wood is easier to renew then stone and stronger then crystal golems which can't fight fire elementals effectivly

I use 3 stone to 1 crystal. Skip wood totally.
Stone to tank.
Crystal for range spectre support.

I use all stone golems, upgraded to ice or lightning.

THe wood golems have a poison option, but I always make the ice, Lightning and Poison Golem towers.. I make 9 towers total, 1 for each special...

I also create a grid of 3X3 essence collecteors... I can put my mouse in the middle and collect from all 9 to give me mega fast mana boost
