Converting Snow to water
Not sure if has been suggested before, but in winter it is hard to get fresh water, i just wondered if it will be possoble in the future for our water catchers and water purifiers to catch and convert snow into potable water?

I'm also still looking forward to seeing the implementation of fire spells being able to melt ice... :-]

Or even the waymakers to be able to dig a hole into the ice.

its a nice idea but not one that i think is needed, wells provide more than enough water and its a bit like food you just need to stock up during the summer/autumn. i cant remember ever having and issue with water during winter? the lakes melt enough during the days to harvest some if needed.

I was also thinking about keeping fire elementals from crossing frozen rivers/lakes for some time.

now that is a useful idea, get the waymakers to dig holes in the ice to make a temporary moat. although i have used the destroy terain to make a land line and then built a wall on it to stop fire elementals which works as well....

Maybe review the settings on your bottler if you have problems maintaining water supply over the winter. I had mine set wrong and it caused a water shortage at the end of winter.
