cool game for LOTR fans. It's a shame it was delisted.

The story unfolds alongside the events of the movie/books. It’s got a dialogue system, a pretty standard skill tree, coop mode and some basic side quests. Nothing special.

However, the combat totally ruins it - repetitive and boring. It’s the same simple combo from start to finish, with hardly any enemy variety. If you’ve played for 2 hours, you’ve seen it all. Basically, it’s like a 10-hour horde mode. Every level just throws the same 30 to 40 enemies at you. I forced myself to finish it.

I’d only recommend it if you’re a huge fan of the Tolkien universe.

The performance is pretty rough too. My PC handles Middle Earth Shadow of War just fine, but this game drops to 10fps in some areas. Probably a port issue.
