You haven't heard from us. - Ihr habt lange nichts von uns gehört.

Dear Gamers,

you haven't heard from us for a long time.
neither any information about the next update nor any answers to your questions
in the forum. The missing responses to your questions led to impatience, frustration and confidence. And you have every right to feel this way. You are afraid to have paid for something that might never be completed.
For that - we truly apologize!

But JOTK will definitely be finished! You can count on that!
Due to the fact that we as developers don't depend on the profit of the game
as it is often the case there is nothing to stop the completion.
At the same time despite our true passion, we're only two game developers so that delays can't always be
avoided. Moreover, we had some serious troubleshooting to do in connection with some updates related to the development environment.
This doesn't excuse our lack of attention for you in the forum. Nevertheless, we wanted to let you know the true
reason for our absence.
But NOW, we have made some BIG CHANGES:
From now on, we have planned to check the forum twice a week for
giving our best possible answers to your questions.
And - we have further great news:
The NEXT UPDATE is in the test stage and will likely be released in November
including a great number of changes and extensions for JOTK.
We hope to be giving you an even more exciting gaming world.

Liebe Spieler,

wir haben lange nichts mehr von uns hören lassen. Keine Informationen
darüber wo das nächste Update bleibt noch Antworten auf eure Fragen im
Forum. Die ausbleibenden Antworten auf die Fragen schürten Ungeduld,
Frust und kosteten auch euer Vertrauen. Ihr habt Angst für etwas bezahlt
zu haben, was nie fertiggestellt werden könnte.
Das tut uns sehr leid und wir müssen uns für unsere Unachtsamkeit
entschuldigen.

Das Spiel JotK wird in jedem Fall fertiggestellt werden. Darauf dürft
ihr euch verlassen. Da wir als Entwickler nicht von dem Einkommen des
Spiels abhängig sind, wie es oft bei anderen Entwicklern der Fall ist,
steht einer Fertigstellung nichts im Wege. Einzig haben wir mit
Verzögerungen zu tun, die dadurch entstehen, weil wir nur zwei
Entwickler sind. Darüber hinaus hatten wir mit einigen Problemen zu tun,
die durch Updates der Entwicklungsumgebung enstanden sind. Das machte
unsere Arbeit bis jetzt nicht leichter.

Das entschuldigt unsere mangelnde Aufmerksamkeit im Forum nicht. Dennoch
möchten wir, dass ihr wisst warum das so ist. Das wollen wir ändern und
haben uns vorgenommen zwei mal pro Woche ins Forum zu schauen und auf
Fragen zu antworten.

Das nächste Update ist in der Testphase und wird vorraussichtlich im
November freigegeben werden. Es beinhaltet eine große Anzahl Änderungen
und Erweiterungen für Journey of the King. Wir hoffen, dass euch der
Spaß an der Entdeckung der Spielewelt etwas entschädigen wird und ein
wenig Frust und Angst damit gebannt sind.

Wir bedanken uns für eure Aufmerksamkeit und hoffen weiterhin auf euer
Vertrauen.

Is it going to be late Nov? I check everyday for it. To be honest ever since I bought this game I have been frustrated and disapointed, any response is better then no response at all. I will never understand not hearing anything for months on end. Happy to hear something now and apology accepted. Would just LOVE to see any new gameplay of anykind, hope it all goes well.
