Problem saving Darklands game

I have tried every save option in the game but cannot save. I am running windows 7 and just purchased the game today. I spent hours ingame then it would not save.

What happens when you try to save?

Nothing. Screen just stays the same.

I think there's some places where you can't save the game, such as small battles. perhaps you really have a real saving issue tho which i think is weird i can't find anything related to it on the net. I'm trying to help you out tho.

Where do I need to make the 'save game folder?' Does it need to be in Darklands game folder or somewhere on my C drive?

I found out how to fix your issue: Got to your DARKLANDS folder, there should be another folder inside it called DARKLAND create a new folder in it and call it: saves

I can save. You Need to Right Click Mouse and scroll to the top of the screen, then to the left a drop down menu appears, select save. Hope this helps you.

Original floppy disk version did not allow Save in the mines. Haven't got that far with Steam. Glad to see it reappear after 20+ years. One of my all-time favorites.
