But if you do that, you won't be able to get MT-32 music.. And i literally linked above the solution to getting both MT-32 and Sound Blaster working properly..
Oh I didn't realize, thanks for the clarification. I never messed with MT-32 before because I owned this game on the original CD before I lost it and just bought this.
On my previous PC, I tried some things to get MT-32 working, and had issues, dunno if was compatibility related or my old piece of poop sound card =\ So I've never even heard this game played in MT-32.
I just got a whole new PC 2 weeks ago, so maybe I will fare better. My old sound card was an old old soundblaster made in like 2007-2008. Now I have the new on board sound on an ASUS motherboard. It's like night and day.
Nowadays you don't need a real MT-32. There is a really great emulator called "munt" that allows you to emulate it almost perfectly. And works great with DosBox.
